Finish and Framing

Well I finally have another finish to show off, this one's been around awhile as a WIP since was working on it at the same time as my Dragon, so it was slow progress since Dragon took so much time.  However, here is Oh Bats! by I LOV MOO designs.  He really was a fun stitch, as I loved the fabric I found for him and I'm a sucker for pretty much anything Halloween.  Now I just need to decide how to finish him off, I'm thinking of a small pillow with fun funky Halloween fabric in purples :)

Next up is my finished and framed Literate Dragon from the HAED SAL last year.  I just picked him up from the framers, Joann's was having a framing sale so I had to take advantage of it, and I love how he turned out, they did a wonderful job.

It was fun when I took him in, they have a new camera thing that takes a picture of what you want framed and then you pick the frame and mat and they input the codes and it can show you how it will look all finished up, you can see if you like it or want to change something, it's awesome.  You can tell if you're getting the effect you want before it's all done and framed.  For someone like me that has a hard time visualizing the final look, it was wonderful.  So, he's up and hanging by my stitching chair now and he makes me smile every time I walk by.  He was done on 28 ct. antique white monaco, 2 over 2 all in DMC.

Haven't yet decided for sure what my next start will be, but as still have a couple older WIP's hanging around, I may pull one of those out for a bit of work before starting something new.  Whatever it is I want bright cheerful colors, I'm soooooo tired of this winter with all its snow, ice, sleet, and cold, so want something spring or summery.
