Stitching and Life in the Company of Pets

Time flies

They say time flies when you're having fun, I think it does when you're losing your mind too. I can not believe that it has been almost three weeks since my last post. Work has been quite intense, both time wise and mentally. By the time I get home in the evening, I pretty much take care of what has to be done and then just fall into bed to start over the next day. There's been stuff going on family wise too. So, unfortunately while it has been three weeks, I don't even have much stitching to show for all that time either. The little bit I have had I've spent on my LK doubleflips. I love how all the words look, but I'm getting eager to get it done as well. I so want to see it all finished and framed.

I'm really enjoying my current word, Encourage, the blue is so pretty.
All the furbabies are doing well. D'artagnon's leg continues to heal well and the fur is now growing back. Jaz is on a slightly higher dose of pain meds now for her arthritis, and it seems to be helping, her limp isn't as pronounced. Sorry I haven't visited your blogs lately, hopefully soon I'll be able to catch up a bit.

With all that is going on with you, it is understandable that you can't get to our blogs. You take care of yourself, it sounds like you are a tad stressed and if you do n't do what you need for you, you'll be taking sick time from work.
Do only what you can comfortably, have a cup of tea and RELAX!
Glad to hear the furbabies continue to do well!

    Hi Sue,

Life just has a way of interfering
    with our little pleasures, doesn't
it?? But we have to give priority
to family and work when necessary,
and hope for time to splurge on
    the fun stuff afterwards.

    Your Lizzie Kate project looks
    great, and you're right that
Encourage is one of the nicest of
all the word designs, and that
blue is gorgeous. You must be
really close to a finish with
    this one.

Glad to hear that all the fur
    babies are well, and especially
    D'artagnon's leg, and Jaz's
    arthritis. I guess with the
    cooler weather coming soon Jaz
might be feeling her aches and
    pains more. Poor baby.

    I'm combining blog/commenting
time here with time spent with
my cat Phoebe, who has been
    very unimpressed with the lack
of time I've had to spend with
    her lately. She doesn't like
    to share me. Sigh!!

Plain and simple Sue, sometimes life just gets too busy. Sigh!

Your LK is looking fantastic! I'm hoping to stitch the Christmas ones.

Good to hear that everyone is doing well. Take some time to relax and enjoy time with the pets and your stitching. You'll be back around soon I'm sure ;o)

I hate it when life starts to pass you by in a daze like that and you realize a month has gone by!

Your double flips are looking great!

I'm kinda in the same boat lately. Too much going on at work and I'm just so tired when I get home. The few times I've tried to stitch I've ended up frogging due to some little slip. Better to take the time now and rest.
Your flips do look great though. I love the colour scheme in this one.
