Remember Your Mittens

My newest finish is soooooo appropriate for the weather we are currently having. With the snow we've had recently we've gotten just under a foot of snow. Today, while not snowing, it is bitter cold. Last temperature I heard was 0, with a wind chill of 18 degrees below. Not fun, so if you're heading out you really need to -

This was such a fun stitch. Not only was it cute, but it was in my favorite color, I love blue. On top of that, being a tuck the finishing was so easy, just tuck it in and I'm done. This is now hanging in my stitching corner.
I did get out and brave the cold for a bit. I haven't been to one on the IMAX type shows in probably 20 years. However, a friend wanted to go to see U2 in 3D at the IMAX here. I had a great time (after I warmed up again) . It was fun going to see a concert that way. I wasn't sure how much I'd like it, but being able to really see U2 play (and Bono sing) was really enjoyable. For a change I didn't have someone in front of me blocking my view, or was so far back all they were were tiny figures on a stage way off in the distance. I'd definently go again.

The stitched piece and the fabric you've chosen are very match well!

That bitter cold has hit here too! It appears it's here to stay for a few days too.
Your finish is so cute. It's everything I love - snowmen, blue and simple. Did you make the tuck yourself? It's such a cute fabric choice.

That fabric is charming. It would look so cute in a quilted throw tossed casually on my favorite armchair.

Here's my Fun Monday post, if you're interested

    Hi Sue,

Oh, now this snowy pattern is lovely. I agree that this is a beautiful shade of blue, and the
fabric that you used to finish it is an excellent match.

I don't have any SanMan charts in my stash yet. I think that I'm going to have to look into their designs because I love what I've seen you stitch from them so far.

Did the little dragonfly charm come with the design "Follow Your Heart"?? Your daughter will love this one.

I've heard good things about the U2 concert on the IMAX screen, and since I have a friend who is a rapid U2 fan I should make sure that she knows about it.

It would certainly be nice not to have to spend a small fortune for tickets, then have to sit in seats somewhere waaaayyyy up in the rafters, and watch wee tiny dots dancing around on the stage....and that's with binoculars.

Hey! Guess what!! We're getting more snow tomorrow!! Just in time for the afternoon commute home from work. And it's going to warm up to a balmy -7 celsius. Bikini weather....NOT!!

What a winter it's been. Well, I'll take this over the tornadoes that they've been experiencing down south.

Keep warm Sue. Love to Jaz.

Remember Your Mittens is really cute! And it is appropriate for your weather back there. I feel for you, although I really don't know how it feels to be in 0 degree weather. Living out here in California, I think 45 degrees is harsh winter! Sorry!
I'm hoping that I get more organization done around the house so I can catch up with my stitching. I look at yours longingly, wishing I had the time right now!
