Happy New Year and Chocolate

Just a quick one to wish everyone Happy New Year.

Also, for those of you that like Chocolate and want a fun freebie checkout the cute Chocolate Covered Cherries pattern here (at the bottom of her web page)
http://www.caseybuonaugurio.com/

The EggNog Fob freebie at the top of the page I thought was cute too, but the Chocolate Covered Cherries is my favorite. I saw this done on Cindy's blog and it worked up really cute.

When I was at Stitches 'n Things Oct. Stitching Weekend I picked up the Hot Cocoa Sampler (this picture is from Casey's web page). I'm going to do it on 28ct Jobelan in English Rose rather than the Cocoa bean color it calls for. I liked that color better when I saw it being stitched that weekend. The Hot Cocoa one will be for my kitchen.

I'm still eyeing Casey's Carrot Cake design too (the Chocolate Cake one that will be released soon I really like as well), but I need to have some restraint, at least they are calorie free, LOL.

I love those CB designs and I have several. Though I haven't stitched one yet. Can't wait to see yours.
Glad to hear your dogs are doing well. Happy New Year to you and yours!

Hi! I love the chocolate covered cherries pattern, but I hate chocolate. lol! I found your blog linked from another blog. I just started a new cross stitch blog for 2007. If you don't mind, I'd love to link you.

By the way, Happy New Year!

    Hi Sue!
Love this chocolate pattern! It is like a warm welcome... But I think I would take on weight with this, because I would want to smell it, and taste it and... It's really tempting! I might have to avoid your blog for some time! Just kidding...
I am so so happy that things have turned out fine for your dogs! I am also too aware that our furry friends can sometimes have problems that we won't see. You have to accept this, not blame yourself. Your dogs see the vet regularly, they are well taken care of, and they receive so much love! I think that's a very happy life for them.
    Take care!

Thanks for the heads up on the freebies!

The Hot Cocoa will be cute in any kitchen.

As for your question on my blog, we went out for dinner. We planned to go out for Thai food & the restaurant was closed ... ended up at Hacienda House = which was fun. It is hard to have a birthday near any holiday : )

Sue, thank you for the news. Sasha must be extremely frustrated from treats, but that's for his own good, even if he doesn't get it... When we give medicine to Jam, we put it inside bread and prepare two. In the first one we throw, there's the pill, and the second one is there, just ready, so Jam quickly swallows the first one and that's it... Of course, he gets the second one! I wish it were that simple with cats... lol!
    Take care!
